Executive Team

Mikkel Gleerup is Cadeler’s Chief Executive Officer. He joined Cadeler in 2017, initially serving as Chief Operating Officer before being appointed CEO in November 2017. Mikkel has more than 17 years’ experience in the offshore wind industry, having  previously held leadership positions at Siemens Wind Power, Global Marine Systems Ltd. and A.P. Moller-Maersk. Mikkel holds an MBA from INSEAD, an M.Sc. in Transportation and Maritime Management from the University of Southern Denmark, and a Master Mariner’s certificate.

Peter Brogaard Hansen joined Cadeler as its Chief Financial Officer in June 2022. Peter has significant experience in the shipping industry and in financial operations. Prior to joining Cadeler, Peter served as Vice President, Group Finance at Torm plc. Peter holds a master’s degree in Accounting and Auditing from Aarhus University.

Jacob Heinricy Jensen is Cadeler’s Chief Operations Officer. He joined Cadeler in 2019, initially serving as Head of HSEQ before being appointed COO in November 2019. Jacob has more than 6 years of experience in the offshore wind industry and prior to that, 12 years of experience in various leadership positions within the oil & gas industry with INEOS Oil & Gas Denmark and DONG Energy. Jacob holds an Executive MBA in Shipping & Logistics (Blue MBA) from Copenhagen Business School and an M.Sc. in Technological and Socio-Economic Planning from the University of Roskilde.

Alexander Simmonds joined Cadeler as its Chief Legal Officer in March 2024. Alexander is responsible for Cadeler’s global legal, contract management, marketing & communications, and IR functions. Alexander joined Cadeler from Davis Polk & Wardwell, where he advised from both the New York and London offices on a broad range of corporate transactions. Alexander holds a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.

Sarah Kaldas is Cadeler’s Chief Sales Officer and General Manager, UK. Since joining Seajacks in 2015 prior to its merger with Cadeler, Sarah has built more than a decade of experience leading complex contract negotiations and is responsible for overseeing tendering and sales for Cadeler’s fleet across both the turbine and foundation installation markets. Sarah holds a Law degree from King’s College London.

Rikke Kruse Kolby is Cadeler’s Chief People & Culture Officer. Rikke joined Cadeler in February 2023, initially as People & Culture Business Partner, before her appointment as CPCO in July 2023, in which capacity she has responsibility for the full employee life-cycle. Before joining Cadeler, Rikke led the HR functions at DHL Aviation DK and HAWE Energy Solutions. Rikke holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Copenhagen Business School.

Jacob Christian Gregersen is Cadeler’s Chief Commercial Officer. He joined Cadeler in 2012, initially serving as a Project Manager on several of Cadeler’s client-focused offshore projects. With more than 20 years of experience in offshore wind and marine construction globally, Jacob is responsible for driving Cadeler’s commercial growth and strategic partnerships across the industry. Jacob holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from IHA Aarhus.
